Jessica Liu Qualifies for SCGA High School Championship Tournament

Liu is the fifth golfer in school history to qualify.
Tartan golfer Jessica Liu qualified to represent St. Margaret's at the Southern California Golf Association High School Championships by shooting a 74 (+2) at the SCGA qualifying round Thursday.

Liu placed 16th out of 130 of the best school-aged golfers in Southern California to earn a spot in the championship round. A challenging course at Temecula Creek put the participants through their paces, winnowing the best of the best down to 28 qualifiers. Liu is only the fifth St. Margaret's golfer to qualify at the prestigious event, joining teammate Annie Weng (qualified in 2023) and Gabby Eifrig '24 (qualified in 2023 and 2022).

The Championship is set to take place on Thursday, November 13, at Los Serranos Golf Club in Chino Hills.

Congratulations Jessica!
