Girls Tennis Overwhelms Whittier Christian 17-1
The Tartans picked up a non-league win Tuesday.
St. Margaret's girls tennis program defeated Whittier Christian 17-1 yesterday at Saddleback College. The win moves the Tartans to 5-1 on the year.
The Tartans' doubles teams of Caitlin Roberts/Fiona Bonilla Duncan and Mia Maxey/Lauren Lee won all three doubles sets played.
Anna Farias was undefeated in singles action, while Rylee Carlson and Aviva Wang defeated the Heralds in two sets each.
The Tartans return to league competition on Oct. 1, taking on Sage Hill School.
