Tartans Clip Eagles in Boys Basketball and Soccer

St. Margaret's continues to roll towards the postseason.
St. Margaret's took on Calvary Chapel Santa Ana Wednesday and came away with two positive results.
 
Boys Basketball
 
The Tartans downed CC Santa Ana 78-69 Wednesday in Pasternack Fieldhouse to improve to 6-3 in league competition.
 
Caden Isola led the Tartans with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists, while Russell Frye added 15 pts and 9 rebs in the win. Cameron Danz kept the offense rolling all evening with 21 points.
 
St. Margaret's will next face Estancia High School at home on Friday, Jan. 26. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
 
Boys Soccer
 
St. Margaret's continued a three-game non-beaten streak, defeating CC Santa Ana 2-0 on Tartan Field Wednesday evening.
 
Despite a slow start, the Tartans caught fire in the second half with Nathaniel Kim notching two goals on assists by Caswell Friedman and Jayden Pelaes. The Eagles had no answer to the Tartan attack and conceded the victory.
 
The 4-4 in league Tartans take on Estancia High School at home on Friday, Jan. 26, at 6 p.m.
