Tartan Girls Tennis Enters Postseason With a Commanding Win

St. Margaret's girls tennis program began the CIF-SS Div. III playoffs with a win, downing hosts Redlands East Valley High School 16-2 on Wednesday.
The Tartans swept all nine singles sets, with Angela Liu, Kate Purpura, and Emily Kim notching victories. The doubles teams of Allie Dandel/Fiona Bonilla Duncan (3 of 3 sets), Emily Guerinot/Rylee Carson (2 of 3 sets) and Alexa Edwards/Caitlin Roberts (2 of 3 sets) secured crucial points for the Tartans.
St. Margaret's will face Culver City High in round 2 on Friday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m.
