Two St. Margaret’s Seniors Named Finalists for 2023 Artist of the Year

Charlotte Quintanar and Winston Verdult were both finalists in the Film and TV category.
St. Margaret’s had two seniors named finalists in the Orange County Register’s 2023 Artist of the Year program.
 
Charlotte Quintanar and Winston Verdult were two of just five finalists in the Film and TV category. Winston was named finalist in the category of cinematography, while Charlotte was named finalist in film directing.
 
In total, there were 53 nominations in the Film and TV category.
 
In addition to being named finalists, Charlotte and Winston were among six Tartans who previously were named semifinalist in the Artist of the Year program. Joining them were Ella Jia (world/cultural dance), Emely Ceballos (ceramics), Kate D’Amaro (drawing) and Kevin Chou (photography). 
 
In total, 17 Upper School students were nominated for OC Artist of the Year this year. St. Margaret’s was among 78 Orange County schools with students nominated.
