St. Margaret's Baseball team defeated Saddleback High School 7-1 Monday, extending its win streak to three behind a talented pitching staff.
Alex Kenny took the mound for the Tartans, delivering nine strikeouts with four hits and no walks. Brennan Sullivan got things moving for the Tartans, going 2-4 with 2 stolen bases and 2 runs scored. Colin Kleinhanzl contributed with 2 runs scored while Dylan Shaw had a pinch-hit RBI double to keep St. Margaret's ahead.
The wins come on the heels of an 18-3 win against Jordan and a 9-2 victory over Don Bosco earlier in the month. The fifth place Tartans have their work cut out for them as they face No. 2 CC Santa Ana on Tuesday, April 18. Andrew Miehe will start on the mound for St. Margaret's.
