As a college-preparatory institution, St. Margaret’s academic excellence is rooted in vigor, choice and relevance and made possible by a strong foundation of educational expertise, research and best practices.
At St. Margaret's Episcopal School, we believe that everyone is on an artistic journey. Through experiences in the visual arts, music, dance, theater and technical arts, students discover and nurture the artists within.
As an extension of the classroom, our athletic teams are committed to remaining at the forefront of innovation and progressive leadership so that our student-athletes may achieve at the highest possible level.
At St. Margaret’s, students are encouraged to explore their own interests in this vibrant, close-knit community, and Tartans seek opportunities for growth in athletics, the arts, service learning, leadership and more.
St. Margaret’s Celebrates Return of the Swallows at the 63rd Annual Swallows Day Parade
St. Margaret’s has been a sponsor and participant in the Swallows Day Parade for many years.
Welcome home swallows!
St. Margaret’s student leaders, championship student-athletes and professional community marched proudly alongside Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano and Special Camp as the community welcomed the return of the swallows (and horses) at the 63rd annual Swallows Day Parade.
San Juan Capistrano displayed glorious blue skies to clear the return of the beloved swallows this year, and the parade also marked the return of the traditional horses after pausing their participation last year due to an equine virus. Lower School students celebrated with glee the return of horses with plush stick ponies, Middle School students flew swallow kites and Upper School student-athletes displayed the school’s core values proudly.
Students were joined by the Directors of School Life from each division (Lora Allison in the Upper School, Kylie Middlebrook in the Middle School and Tupper Spring in the Lower School) along with Head of School Will Moseley, Lower School Principal Jennifer Blount and Tartan flag football, boys volleyball and girls basketball coaches. Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano students marched and cheered with inspiring signs led by director Elizabeth Eusebio, and Special Camp, led by executive director Lindsay Eres, was accompanied by campers and counselors expressing their enthusiasm to participate every year.
St. Margaret’s has been a sponsor and participant in the Swallows Day Parade for many years.
“We value our deep connection to San Juan Capistrano and we treasure being part of the Swallows Day Parade every year,” Head of School Will Moseley said. “We are honored to support our town and participate in this cherished event, and it was great seeing so many Tartans along the parade route.”
A special thank you to all the Tartans, students, professional community, coaches and more who represented St. Margaret’s in the Swallows Day Parade.
