St Margaret’s Wins Orange Coast League Title, 6 Qualify for Second Day of League Individual Qualifier

The Tartans Girls Golf team did their school proud by winning their tiebreaker with Westminster on Day 1 of the Orange Coast League final, 196-238. The victory guarantees a spot for St. Margaret’s at the CIF Division 2 tournament and means that the Tartans finish first in the Orange Coast League Standings. Gabby Eifrig and Jessica Liu were the low scorers, both finishing at 36 (+1). Amber Lin was next with a 40 (+5). Rounding out the rest of the scores were Kate Lee with a 41 (+6), Madison Lewis with a 41 (+6), Rianne Ke with a 46 (+11), Jenny Cha with a 51 (+16), and Branda Hu with a 54 (+19). Additionally, Gabby, Jessica, Kate, Madison, Amber and Rianne all had scores in the bottom 12 of a field of 36 and qualify to play on Day 2 of the league finals. The bottom 4 on day 2 will qualify for CIF individuals. Congrats to all!
