St. Margaret's Golf, Tennis and Volleyball Programs Pick up Mid-Season Wins

St. Margaret's eyes the postseason as girls golf, tennis and volleyball continue to rack up league victories.
Girls Golf
The Tartans notched their ninth straight victory on Sept. 27, defeating Orange High School 245-345. St. Margaret's was led by Gabby Eifrig's four birdies and a three-under-par score of 33 at San Juan Hills. Joy Mao (43, +7), Madison Lewis (47, +11), Jenny Cha (58, +22) and Ella Eggert (64 +28) kept the Tartans on top all afternoon.
Girls Tennis
St. Margaret's routed Estancia (17-1) and Costa Mesa (18-0) to remain undefeated in the league this past week.
"We are improving each match and building confidence," said head coach Scott Lipsky. "We are looking forward to the rest of the league season and what's to come if we continue playing the way we are now."
Girls Volleyball
The Tartans battled to key victories against league opponents Cost Mesa and Estancia to improve to 9-0 in league play. Stellar team passing was the name of the game for St. Margaret's, blanking both foes 3-0 this past week. 
Against Costa Mesa, the Tartans were led by Emerson Tingler and Carly Grumet, each recording three kills on four attempts. Brady Moseley hit a team-high .611 and recorded 13 kills on 18 attempts against Estancia.
