St. Margaret's Swimmers Shine at CIF Finals

The Tartan athletes swam to personal bests this past weekend.
St. Margaret's swim program had a chance to compete at the CIF-S Div. III Finals on May 7 and made the most of the opportunity.

Zoe Reynolds finished 9th overall in the 200 individual medley with a personal best time of 2:14.26, while the 200 freestyle team of Reynolds, Heidi Tufo, Lucy Young and Julia Olosky swam to another school record (1:44.73), improving on their previous time by a second and earning them a 14th place finish.

The effort caps off an exciting year for St. Margaret's swimming program, which saw nine Tartan individual league champions, a San Joaquin League girls team title and three school records broken by the 200 freestyle relay team. Head coach Staciana Winfield was also named San Joaquin League Coach of The Year.

Congratulations, Tartans!
