Jack Hanna Advances to CIF Boys Tennis Individual Regional
Hanna finished second in league finals play.
St. Margaret's senior Jack Hanna finished second at the San Joaquin League Individual Tennis Finals at Sage Hill School Thursday, advancing to the CIF-SS Individual regional. Hanna defeated Sage Hill's Ian Jiang 6-1, 6-0 in the semifinal match before falling to Sage Hill No. 1 Grant Gallagher 2-6, 7-5, 10-7 in the final. Both finalists will advance to the individual regional on May 19.
The Tartan doubles team of Charles Ihara and Cole Roberts placed fourth at the finals and were named alternates for the CIF individual event.
St. Margaret's will return to the courts on Wednesday, May 4 at the first round of the CIF-SS playoffs.
