Tartan Baseball Upends Southland Christian With First Perfect Game

Pitcher Shane Olvera-Harle recorded 16 strikeouts in the win.
St. Margaret's relied on pitcher Shane Olvera-Harle's perfect outing in a 21-0 victory over Southlands Christian at San Juan Sports Park Thursday afternoon. Olvera-Harle struck out 16 batters over seven innings to get the win and set a Tartan strikeout record. The win also marks St. Margaret's first perfect game in program history.
 
Olvera-Harle also provided his own insurance at the plate, going 4-4 and scoring four runs with two doubles, one triple and seven runs batted in. Andrew Miehe (3-5, 4 runs, 1 2B, 4 RBI, 2 SB), Els Page (2-4, 2 runs, 1 HR, 5 RBI), Hunter Smith (3-5, 3 runs, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 3 SB) and Max Page (1-2, 3 runs, 1 2B, 3 BB) all supported the winning effort.
