This year, Girls in STEAM will take place Saturday, March 26, 8:30 a.m. – noon, and is a hybrid event: in-person on the St. Margaret’s campus with a virtual component for those who cannot make it to campus. The event is free for students grades 4-12-- those who are already advanced STEAM scholars and those who just want to check it out and learn more about science, technology, engineering, arts and math. Friends and groups are encouraged.  Register by clicking here. Registration closes March 18.

The day will feature hands-on STEAM hands-on breakout workshops, a speed networking event, Grad Slam presenters from the University of California, Irvine, Spotlight Speaker City of Hope of Orange County President Annette Walker, STEAM panel discussions, and more fun activities!

Created by STEAM educators at St. Margaret’s, Girls in STEAM merges the possibilities of STEAM fields—science, technology, engineering, arts and math—with championing the power of girls and women.
