Competition has finally resumed for high school athletics in Orange County, and the St. Margaret’s athletic teams were ready.
This film illustrates how Tartan athletes, under the guidance of their coaches, trained and maintained their competitive edge through the fall and winter hiatus from play, and captures the spirit among student-athletes, coaches and administrators around the return to play. It highlights the months spent in practice, drills, strength training and conditioning, the school’s planning and adaptability to adhere to youth sports COVID-19 guidelines and testing, and the overall enthusiasm felt by Tartan athletes to return to play with their teammates and in front of their friends and family.
“We were able to put every single team on the field, on the court, in the pool, wherever they go,” said Chris Nordstrom, interim Upper School athletic director. “I couldn’t be more proud of our athletes, our coaches, our families, our administration for giving us pathways to do it. It is incredible that we were able to do this.”
