Tartan Scholar-Athletes Honored at National Football Foundation Awards Dinner

Varsity football players Jake Carreon, Robbie Healy, Parker Hogan, Matt Stevenson and Sean Sullivan were honored at the Orange County chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame's 50th annual Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet on Monday, March 9.

The banquet honored over a hundred graduating Orange County high school and college football players for being All-League or All-Conference First Team while maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

"This event truly amazes me, the dedication these young men put towards their academics is fascinating," said St. Margaret's head football coach Kory Minor. "They are not just athletes; they are student-athletes, and that his something to marvel over."

The Tartans have consistently earned accolades from the National Football Hall of Fame, including 2019 honorees Nick Falshaw '19, James Mott '19, Langston Sholl '19, Alex Smith '19 and Chris Vartanian '19.
