A cherished St. Margaret’s tradition took place last week as Upper School students selected, wrote or choreographed performances as part of the 17th annual Coffee House Cabaret in the McGregor Family Theater.
The event featured 32 students performing 20 acts. There were renditions of popular songs by classic acts like The Beatles, Queen, Coldplay, Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac. There were also performances of pieces from musicals like West Side Story and Frozen.
The performances were accompanied by the Coffee House Cabaret Band, directed by Chris Carbajal, on piano Adela Kwan and featuring students Shea Tomaselli, Julia Schulze, Brayden Windes and Marek Magana. Upper School student James Kim served as master of ceremony.
St. Margaret’s would like to thank all of the students and parent volunteers, the Coffee House Cabaret Events Chair Susan Giusto, assistant chairs Anoosheh Gerayli and Ashley Rosenhain, and the Coffee House Cabaret team Maureen Aitken and Caren Edler, along with the rest of the PTF Arts Alliance.
