FTC Robotics Team Finishes Regular Season With Strong Performance
The team, which consists of Upper School and Middle School students, is now gearing up the Interleague Tournament in Monrovia next month.
The FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team at St. Margaret’s competed in its last regular season meet of the year last weekend at Fairmont Private School in Anaheim, winning three of its five matches.
This year’s FTC challenge is to build a robot that picks up brick-sized blocks, (similar to large Lego pieces), move them across the game field and stack them in a tower.
The FTC team, which consists of Upper School and Middle School students, is now gearing up the Inter-league Tournament in Monrovia next month. Team members are Preston Brinker, Italivi Diaz, Espen Garner, Jack Justus, Wendy Liang, Chloe Lias, Alexis Lindenfelser and Benjamin Simpson.
