Tartan Dancers Bring Holiday Spirit to the Stage – See the Photos!

MS/US Winter Dance Concert
The Middle School/Upper School Winter Dance Concert featured more than 50 students grades 6-12. The program included 22 dances, several of which were choreographed by students and others by dance faculty and collaborations between teachers and students.

There were crowd favorites and annual traditions like “Sleigh Ride” with the grade 6 dancers and “Let It Snow” with the grade 7 and grade 8 dancers, as well as new pieces like a Bollywood Melody by grade 7 and grade 8 dancers choreographed and taught by guest artist Natasha Pancholi Khatod, a St. Margaret’s parent.

Among the performance were solo dances by freshman Celeste Windes, junior Christine Kao, junior Camellia Thomas, grade 8 student Elsa Gunderson grade 8 student David Greuel.

Dance Conservatory
Early Childhood School and Lower School students in the after-school St. Margaret’s Dance Conservatory program demonstrated the techniques they have practiced this fall in a variety of performances that included holiday-themed dances. The informal sharing featured more than 150 students.
