The St. Margaret's community officially kicked off the Christmas season with the 13th annual PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The St. Margaret's community officially kicked off the Christmas season with the 13th annual PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday. Members of school and the St. Margaret's Episcopal Church gathered in the Fountain Courtyard to sing carols led by students Marek Magana, Lorelei Blau and Greta Blau, enjoy homemade desserts and hot chocolate made by St. Margaret’s families, and even special surprise visit by Santa Claus!
The ceremony featured a blessing by The Reverend K.C. Robertson, and a countdown to the lighting of St. Margaret’s 20-foot-tall Christmas tree led by Head of School Will Moseley.
The PTF extends special thanks to event chair Michelle Chen and all the volunteers who helped continue this cherished St. Margaret’s tradition.
