“It’s fantastic to see the collective hard work of our athletes and coaches recognized at this level," said Director of Athletics Patrick Bendzick. "Their belief in the philosophy of truly being scholar-athletes and their commitment to playing multiple sports has created a strong culture of high expectations. Just as important, it’s rewarding to see them having fun doing it.”
The MaxPreps Cup is a ranking system devised to rate every high school sport state championship in the nation in order to determine the nation's best overall high school sports programs. Varying point totals are awarded to teams that win a state title or finish in second place, based on the type of sport, the size of the state, the type of enrollment division and the number of teams participating in the enrollment division. Points are also awarded for teams that appear in national rankings for selected sports. Click here
