Vladimir Horowitz Tribute Concert

Performing Arts Center - Marcus D. Hurlbut Theater - 1000
For one special evening, see—and hear—a stunning reenactment of the famed 1986 Vladimir Horowitz recital in Moscow performed on Horowitz' own piano, the celebrated CD 503. The year 1986 marked Vladimir Horowitz's first recital in the Soviet Union since the then 81-year-old pianist left his homeland in 1925 to make his career in the west. "Bravos and tears," wrote The New York Times about audience response to the maestro's electrifying and emotional performance.
For one night only, The Arts at St. Margaret's and Fields Pianos will host a tribute to the maestro. Admission is free. Please RSVP for your complimentary tickets at SMES Box Office.
