PTF Tartan Family BBQ and Fun Zone

Chalmers Field
Don’t miss the tailgating party of the year! The Tartan Family BBQ and Fun Zone will take place on Friday, Oct. 13 at 5 p.m. on Chalmers Field. Hosted by the Parent Teacher Fellowship, enjoy pizza, sliders and specialty ice cream for the whole family. Field games for all ages will be played on Chalmers Field. Visit the Tartans Thrive exhibit to experience some of the wearable fitness technology and simulators that will be a part of the new St. Margaret's Commons. Picnic tables will be available, but a very large crowd is expected for the event. Come early and bring your favorite family blanket or purchase one off the Boosters Cart to picnic on the field. At the sound of the bagpipes, join with the cheerleaders and parade over to the Tartan Field as St. Margaret's celebrates Homecoming with a 6:45 p.m. pregame presentation before the 7 p.m. varsity football game kickoff!

Celebrate Homecoming with the entire Tartan community: RSVP at this link!

SMES SECURITY – CAMPUS PARKING
Please know that the main central school gate on La Novia will be accessible. You may park in the Lower & Early School Parking Lots, the PAC Parking Lot, the Student Parking Lot, the Ortega Village Center (if the business is closed) and the Calle Arroyo lot (adjacent to the school). The Upper School Pasternack Parking Lot will not be open for parking. When parking lots have reached capacity on campus, Security will be closing vehicle gates and posting “Lot Full” signs. Both the pedestrian gate on La Novia from the Calle Arroyo lot and the pedestrian gate between Middle School and Wallace Hall from the Ortega Village Center will be open.

Importantly, please do not park in the Ortega Office Cottages located on Calle Arroyo across from campus. The property managers have informed the school that they will tow unauthorized parked cars.
