Deadline for Student Art for 2022 School Christmas Card With the Theme of ‘Love’

All students are invited to create a Christmas and holiday season-themed visual artwork piece to be considered for use in the 2022 St. Margaret's printed Christmas and holiday card. The printed card typically features several pieces of student artwork on the cover and inside and is 5x7”.
In conceptualizing and creating artwork, students are encouraged to consider:
• Consider a main theme of “love” for each other and our community in the message in addition to holiday messages of joy, hope, gratitude, family and peace among all people.
• Representing what St. Margaret’s Episcopal School stands for in its mission and core values.
• Consider using St. Margaret’s visual representations of the school, including St. Margaret’s students, early childhood – grade 12 student community, activities and iconic images. St. Margaret’s name and school crest or marks of the school, campus structures, like the Gateway Arch, Performing Arts Center or Chapel fountain.
All visual artwork media will be accepted and considered: drawing, painting, illustration, photography, montage, collage, mosaic, and multimedia for web use only. The deadline to submit artwork is October 28 by 3:30 p.m. to Mrs. Miller in the PAC, Room 1015. Please include student’s first and last name, grade level and teacher/advisor name with the artwork submission. If submitting digitally, email jmiller@smes.org and please note important specs: artwork must be high resolution with minimum of 300 dpi with 5x7 ratio (art and text must be within live area 4.75” x 6.75”).
