St. Margaret's Boys Volleyball Blanks Eagles 3-0

The Tartans move to 7-0 in league with the win.
The Tartan boys volleyball program remains undefeated in league with a 3-0 win over visiting Calvary Chapel Santa Ana Thursday evening.

St. Margaret's turned away the Eagles' aggressive serve and attacking attempts with improved blocking and hitting out of the middle. Beckett Harvey led with an impressive .900 hitting percentage with 9 kills on 10 attempts. Reed Wainwright had 15 kills on 30 attempts, while Aidan McMahon added some timely dumps and contributed 6 kills.

"I was pleased with our overall blocking and improvement in that area as the match wore on," said head coach Bob Yoder. "It was nice to play at home against a well-coached and energetic opponent."

The Tartans will return to South Coast League action on Thursday, March 28, when they face Santa Ana on the road.
