Tartan Baseball Picks up League Point in Shutout

St. Margaret's beat Orange 15-0 on Tuesday.
Freshman hurler Charlie Allen picked up the win as St. Margaret's defeated Orange High School 15-0 in Orange Coast League action Tuesday.
 
Allen extended his scoreless innings streak to 11 with 6 innings pitched, notching 6 strikeouts while only allowing two hits. He received great run support from Sebastian Salazar (3-4, double, 3 runs), Charley Gianulias (3-3, 3 runs), Jazper Smith (2-3, 2 runs, 2 RBI), Brennan Sullivan (2-4, 2 RBI), and Dylan Shaw (1-4, 4 RBI).
 
Jack Kleinhanzl allowed one hit and recorded a strikeout in relief.
 
"It was great to finally get our bats active with a much-needed win over a good Orange program," said head coach Scott Wallis.
 
The Tartans will next face Orange again on Thursday, March 14 at JSerra High School. First pitch is slated for 4:30 p.m.
