Tartan Boys Basketball Rebounds With 60-58 Win Against Estancia

Cameron Danz's four three-pointers lifted St. Margaret's Wednesday night.
St. Margaret's boys basketball program notched a 60-58 win over hosts Estancia High School Wednesday night to improve to 2-2 in league play.

Cameron Danz led the Tartans with 19 points, including four three-pointers to edge the Tartans past the Eagles. Mark Cyr contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds, with Russell Frye dropping 12 points in the win.

"It was a really big win for us after struggling on the road against Costa Mesa and Calvary Chapel," said head coach Chris Nordstrom. "Estancia was sitting in first, so going on the road to knock them off was critical in our efforts to get back in the Orange Coast League race."

The Tartans face Orange at home on Friday, Jan. 5, at 7 p.m.
