Stars Gabby Eifrig, Annie Weng, and Jessica Liu Qualify for CIF-SS Individuals After 27 Holes of League Competition

After 27 holes over 2 days at Costa Mesa Country Club, St. Margaret’s qualified three players for CIF-SS individuals: Gabby Eifrig, Annie Weng, and Jessica Liu. At the preliminaries on Tuesday, 6 players qualified for day two: Eifrig (30, -5), Weng (33, -2), Liu (38, +3), Madison Lewis (40, +5), Rianne Ke (42, +7) and Talia McElfish (44, +9). Ke and Lewis were forced to withdraw from the finals on Wednesday, but the remaining four played into the second day. Eifrig finished the tournament in first place (97, -8), Weng finished in second place (105, +0) and Liu in fourth (111, +6), each qualifying for one of the 7 spots reserved for the Orange Coast League at CIF-SS Individuals. That tournament will be played at Los Serranos Country Club in Chino Hills next week.
