Tartan Girls Volleyball Grounds Eagles 3-0

St. Margaret's improved to 11-0 in Orange Coast League play.
St. Margaret's girls volleyball team swept Calvary Chapel Santa Ana 3-0 at home Wednesday night to keep its winning streak in league play alive. The Tartans are now 11-0 in Orange Coast League contests.

The Tartans relied on consistent team serving as they had all year to secure the win, notching a 90% efficiency with 16 aces versus seven missed serves. Carly Herman led the defense with 10 digs on the night.

"It was a great night to celebrate our seniors: Carly Grumet, Maya Reddy, and Emerson Tingler, who collectively accounted for 19 of the team's total 32 kills," said head coach Bob Yoder.

The Tartans will close out the league schedule with a final home game against Orange High School on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 6 p.m. St. Margaret’s will then await the CIF-SS playoff draw, which will occur on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m.
