Varsity Golf Wins Last Two Matches, Completes Perfect 17-0 Regular Season

The Tartans won their final two matches of the season this week and have finished the regular season with a perfect 17-0 record (14-0 League). In Tuesday's home match against Katella, the Tartans took the W with a 190-356 stroke finish. Freshman star Annie Weng led the day with a 34 (-2), followed closely by Gabby Eifrig (35, -1), Jessica Liu (36, +0), and Madison Lewis (39, +3). Wednesday's away match against Ocean View was a 167-260 win for St. Margaret's. Team Captain Gabby Eifrig shot a jaw dropping 27 (-4). Annie Weng (31, +0), Jessica Liu (34, +3), Madison Lewis (35, +4) and Talia McElfish (40, +9) posted the other qualifying scores. The mighty Lady Tartans will ride their incredible momentum into the Orange Coast League Prelims and Finals next week.
