PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony Begins Christmas Festivities at St. Margaret’s

The St. Margaret's community gathered in the Fountain Courtyard to kick off the Christmas season.
The St. Margaret's community officially kicked off the Christmas season with the 12th annual PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday. Members of school and the St. Margaret's Episcopal Church gathered in the Fountain Courtyard to sing carols with the Lower School Pipers and Highlander Chorale, and enjoy homemade desserts and hot chocolate made by St. Margaret’s families.

The ceremony featured a blessing by The Reverend Earl Gibson, and a countdown to the tree lighting by Head of School Will Moseley and special guest Santa Claus, as the crowd joined in.

The PTF extends special thanks to event chair Wendy Mattox and all the volunteers who helped make for a memorable evening for the St. Margaret’s community.
