Tartans Beat La Habra 3-1, Advance to Quarterfinals

St. Margaret's relied on precision hitting and excellent defense to get the win.
The Tartan volleyball team defeated La Habra High School 3-1 (25-17, 25-15, 23-25, 25-18) on Saturday afternoon to advance to the CIF-SS Division IV Quarterfinals. The Tartans were led by Gracyn Benck's 31 kills, including the game-winning point. Benck was closely followed by Liv Hale (18 kills) and Emmy Flornes (14 kills). Jalyn Chun led the Tartan servers with three aces.

St. Margaret's will head on the road in the next round on the quest for a CIF Southern Section championship. Please consult the athletics website for schedule details.
