St. Margaret's Comes Away With Div. II Title at Dave Mohs Volleyball Tournament

The Tartans defeated Carlsbad High in the finals of the Dave Mohs Invitational.
The Tartan varsity volleyball team wrapped up a great weekend at the Dave Mohs Invitational, defeating a talented Carlsbad team in the Div. II final to capture the crown. St. Margaret's faced a wide range of opponents, amassing a tournament record of 6-1 on the way to the championship.
 
The Tartans were led by senior Gracyn Benck (2 aces, 13 kills in the final) and junior Emerson Flornes (1 ace, 9 kills in the final).
 
St. Margaret's will return to the court at home against Foothill High School on Friday, September 7, 5 p.m.
