Tartan Cheerleaders Impress at Cheer Camp

St. Margaret's cheerleaders performed well at the U.S. Spiritleaders Camp.
The varsity and junior varsity cheerleading squads recently attended the U.S. Spiritleaders Camp at Next Level Sports Complex in Garden Grove, where they earned a bevy of awards for the fifth year in a row.

Rising seniors Lily Norwood, Allison Roy and Rosie Lawler received individual awards at the varsity level while rising freshmen Leah Weiss, Caroline Kinsey and Cathryn Giusto were honored at the junior varsity level. Lulu Arundale earned her second consecutive "Best Controller/Crowd Leader" overall award, edging out participants from six other programs. The Tartans also earned the "Best Costumes Overall" award at the camp.

Coach Kylie Middlebrook remarked, "We had a great time representing St. Margaret's and sharing our school spirit and pride. I was incredibly impressed by the teams' unity and support for each other. There was so much to be proud of!"

The cheerleading team looks forward to cheering on the Tartans for the 2018-2019 school year. Please consult the Athletics website for a schedule of events.
