The ceremony included readings, student music performances, as well as a passing of the peace.
The St. Margaret’s community came together this week for the annual Spring All-School Eucharist. The ceremony included readings, student music performances, as well as a passing of the peace.
During the sermon, the St. Margaret’s chaplains spoke about empathy, tying into the following day’s Literacy Day message of “walking in their shoes.”
Head of School Will Moseley also spoke, acknowledging the 2018 senior class celebrating its final Eucharist as students.
Mr. Moseley said in his prayer for the seniors: “Gracious God, we give you thanks for the St. Margaret’s graduating class of 2018: celebrating the integrity of their leadership, the discipline of their academic pursuits and the authenticity of their friendships. Give them courage and joy; give them strength to encounter what is to come, and bless them in all their endeavors. May they be beacons of hope as they share the spirit of St. Margaret’s in everything they do. Amen.”
The Spring All-School Eucharist is one of five all-school services that bring together the entire school for a time of gratitude, thanksgiving and celebration.
