The event served as a chance for students to reflect on their senior year but also look ahead to their soon-to-be role as Tartan alumni.
Coming together for friendship and conversation about their final weeks at St. Margaret’s, the Tartan senior class recognized the “100 Days to Graduation” milestone during a special lunch hosted by the Tartan Alumni Association this week.
The festive gathering featured engaging activities prompting students to think ahead to the college life that awaits them. For example, each table had 100 slips of paper with advice and tips to know before college. Several students read their favorites aloud, ranging from “Your professors are real people with super cool accomplishments—take some time to learn about them” to “Sleep, but not through your morning classes.”
The event served as a chance for students to reflect on their senior year but also look ahead to their soon-to-be role as Tartan alumni. Head of School Will Moseley shared his appreciation for the seniors as they prepare for their home stretch at St. Margaret’s, while Jillian Gray, director of alumni relations, offered insight on the relationship the seniors will have with St. Margaret’s as they soon join 2,200 other Tartans as alumni.
Commencement for the Class of 2018 will be held on Saturday, June 2.
