St. Margaret’s Strategic Plan Presented at CASE-NAIS National Conference

The group presented how St. Margaret’s shifted the paradigm of strategic planning from operational to aspirational with its mission-driven, values-based Strategic Plan unveiled in 2016. 
St. Margaret’s school leaders presented at the 48th annual CASE-NAIS Independent Schools Conference in Anaheim this week, sharing insight into the school’s aspirational Strategic Plan.

Board of Trustees President Jason Weiss, Board Vice President Paul Westhead, Head of School Will Moseley, Assistant Head of School for Strategic Initiatives Ryan Dahlem, Executive Director for Advancement Jonathan Tufo and Director of Communications and Marketing Anne Dahlem participated in the presentation titled “Setting Your Institutional Compass: Values-Based Strategic Planning.”

The group presented how St. Margaret’s shifted the paradigm of strategic planning from operational to aspirational with its mission-driven, values-based Strategic Plan unveiled in 2016. The Board worked with Mr. Moseley to leverage St. Margaret’s defining school mission and values to chart a bold vision for the school’s future in all aspects of the school’s academic and operational programs.

The school leaders shared several aspects of the plan’s implementation, including academic and student programs, community engagement, campus master planning, advancement, communications and marketing.

The conference, organized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and the National Association of Independent Schools, focuses on key challenges and opportunities facing independent school professionals in the areas of advancement and communications
