VIDEO: Empty Plates Project Serves Through Student Art

The event raises money and awareness for food-related issues, and uses the creative works of St. Margaret’s visual arts students to serve the community.
The Empty Plates Project took place last week in the Performing Arts Center Foyer. The event raises money and awareness for food-related issues, and uses the creative works of St. Margaret’s visual arts students to serve the community.

The plates created by students from kindergarten through grade 12 were sold for $20 at the event. Attendees could then fill their purchased plate with food catered from local restaurants and enjoy a dinner alongside fellow Tartans. All funds raised will be donated to Father Serra's Pantry and the Ecology Center’s garden outreach program.
