Girls Tennis Ramps Up For Academy League Finish

The Tartans defeated Oxford Academy 10-8 on October 3.
The Tartans rallied behind the stellar play of Seychelle Balog in a 10-8 win over visiting Oxford Academy at Saddleback College on Tuesday, Oct. 3. Seychelle won all three of her matches in the victory.

The Tartans have a tough road ahead, facing perennial powerhouse Laguna Beach on Monday, Oct. 9 at Saddleback College in a non-league contest. Academy League action picks up again on Tuesday, Oct. 10 when the Tartans will face rival Sage Hill School and Friday, Oct. 13 against Crean Lutheran.

The Tartans have been playing well according to head coach Dana Bozeman: "If we can keep up the pace in the Academy League, we should have a good chance to do well in CIF postseason competition."

The Tartans are 2-2 in Academy League play, 3-5 overall.
