St. Margaret's Cheerleaders Pick Up Honors at Cheer Camp

The Tartans captured a bevy of awards at the U.S. Spiritleaders Camp.
St. Margaret's cheerleading squad attended the U.S. Spiritleaders Camp at Vanguard University this summer, in preparation for the 2017 season. The Tartans took the opportunity to bond as a team while learning new material and routines.

Tartan award winners included Lulu Arundale, Emma Peets, Annie Moore, Taylor Wong, Grace Lawler and Ashley Jones. Lulu also was awarded Best Camp Controller/Announcer.
 
The highest honor at the camp also went to a Tartan, with Julia Kramer receiving the All-Star award.

You can catch the St. Margaret's cheerleaders in action at this fall's football games beginning Thursday, Aug. 31 at Orange Coast College as the Tartans take on Calvary Chapel Santa Ana at 7:30 pm.
