Tartan Volleyball Brings Home San Pedro Tournament Championship

The Tartans defeated all comers at the San Pedro Volleyball Tournament this past Saturday.
St. Margaret's boys volleyball team traveled to San Pedro High School on Saturday, March 25, taking part in the San Pedro Volleyball Tournament. The Tartans faced off against established programs in a high-paced competitive environment. After going undefeated in pool play, the Tartans entered the playoff round which consisted of 25 points-to-win matches, with no room for error. St. Margaret's prevailed, playing with a sense of urgency and their best volleyball of the day against tough competition.

Aside from bringing home the tournament hardware, Ethan Hill was named tournament MVP with 36 kills and eight blocks while team passing and defensive leader Matt Hamadani was selected to the All-Tournament team. Nick Visconti had 27 kills and seven blocks through the tournament.

The Tartans will return to action on April 11 against Academy League opponent Brethren Christian.
