Registration is Open: 2023 St. Margaret’s STEAM Expo

The STEAM Expo is an inspiring, innovating and fun full-day event for students interested in science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
St. Margaret’s Episcopal School is inviting local students to the St. Margaret’s STEAM Expo, an inspiring, innovating and fun full-day event for students interested in science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
 
This year’s STEAM Expo will take place on Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is a free event, and there is something for everybody!
 
The STEAM Expo will feature a morning STEAM playground for preK-grade 5 STEAM enthusiasts, an afternoon program with speakers, workshops and networking panels for students in grades 6-12, including sessions specifically for girls in grades 6-12 interested in STEAM careers.
 
The afternoon session will feature inspiring spotlight speaker Kristen Miazga, an experienced technology professional who’s currently senior partner business lead at Google. Kristen has worked in and around the tech and media industry across multiple sectors, and is currently focused on building advertising and technology solutions for the automotive industry in the United States. In addition, Kristen is a lead for the automotive industry for Google’s diversity and inclusion effort, focusing on empowering women and underrepresented groups in Google and the broader tech sector. Kristen is also actively involved with Women@Google, an employee resource group with 20,000 members and 120 chapters.
