St. Margaret's Spring Volleyball Programs Find Early Success

Tartan boys volleyball and girls beach volleyball picked up wins this week. 
Boys Volleyball
 
The Tartan boys volleyball team clipped the Santa Margarita Eagles 3-0 in non-league action Tuesday evening.
 
Luke Reinkensmeyer (9 kills) and Reed Wainwright (17 kills) led the Tartan attack, including a late comeback down 19-23 in the second game. Shane Aitken (32 assits, 2 aces) supported with solid setting all evening.
 
St. Margaret's returns to the court to face JSerra on Wednesday, March 8, at 5:15 p.m. at home.

*Update 3/9* - The Tartans downed cross-town foe JSerra 3-0. Reed Wainwright led with 13 kills with Luke Balint adding 8 kills. Shane Aitken and Andrew Otto contributed 10 and 9 digs respectively in the win.
 
Girls Beach Volleyball
 
St. Margaret's girls beach volleyball program swept Ocean View High School 3-0 at Huntington State Beach Tuesday evening. The Tartan pairings of Brady Moseley/Luci Hill, Carly Hermann/Eileen Sadati and Piper Ruffner/Emma Kim all won their respective matches 2-0.
 
The Tartans will next take on league opponent Costa Mesa High School on Wednesday, March 8, at 3:30 p.m.
