The Tartan girls basketball program is headed to the CIF Finals after defeating South Hills High School 55-39 in the Div. 5AA semifinal Saturday evening.

The Tartans and the Huskies battled through a physical first half, with the Tartans taking a slight 23-20 lead into the locker room. The Huskies got close late in the game, pulling to within 7 points, but the Tartans shut the door and pulled away with a 55-39 final score.

St. Margaret's was led by sophomore Harper Gideons (19 pts.) and followed close behind by freshman Lila Wohlgemuth (15 pts.).
