Gideons has been a force for St. Margaret's girls basketball program.
Harper Gideons, a St. Margaret's sophomore and integral part of the Tartans' girls basketball team, has been featured by reporter Ryan Kuhn at SOCoprepsports.com, which covers south Orange County youth sports. Gideons relies on cochlear implants, but it hasn't held her back from becoming a team leader for the Tartans.
Harper currently averages 12 points per game and eclipsed the 500 career points mark vs. CC Santa Ana on Jan. 24. With 38 three-pointers this season and 3.5 steals, 2 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game, Harper has helped the Tartans to an 18-6 (7-2 league) record and a likely postseason run set to start in early February.
