Upper School Teacher Dr. Masami Stahr Honored by The University of Chicago

Dr. Stahr was recently selected for the University of Chicago’s Outstanding Educator Award.
St. Margaret’s Upper School math teacher Masami Stahr was recently selected for the University of Chicago’s Outstanding Educator Award.
 
The award is given based on nominations by newly admitted University of Chicago students wishing to recognize educators who made a difference in their lives. Teachers who win the Outstanding Educator Award receive a commemorative award, certificate and letter. 
 
Dr. Stahr teaches AP calculus and multivariable calculus at St. Margaret’s.
 
“I am so grateful that the University of Chicago chose to recognize Dr. Stahr’s incredible commitment to her students and their learning,” Upper School Principal Jeneen Graham said. “It is a such a testament to the relationships that are built here at St. Margaret’s that our students made an effort to encourage their college to recognize someone who helped shape them. I am grateful for this recognition on behalf of Dr. Stahr.”
