Junior Battle Gideons Featured in The Orange County Register

Gideons, a member of St. Margaret's Football program, is making an impact for the Tartans.
Battle Gideons, a junior member of the Tartans football program, has been featured by Steve Fryer in The Orange County Register's high school sports column. Gideons wears cochlear implants and has been an inspiration to his teammates and coaches during the Tartans' 2022 football campaign.
 
Gideons, who plays both linebacker and running back, is currently the Tartans' leading rusher with 111 yards, second on the team in solo tackles (9), and first in sacks (3).
 
The Tartans will take on Muir High School at home on Friday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m.
