Tartans win 4th straight despite the heat

St. Margaret's Golf kept its winning streak going with a victory at home against Estancia High School on Thursday afternoon. Despite temperatures that neared 100 degrees, the Tartans delivered their fourth straight victory, winning 209 strokes to 299 strokes. The low score of the day was turned in by freshman phenom Jessica Liu who shot an even par 36 (+0), with a birdie and 7 pars. Team captain Gabby Eifrig turned in the second lowest score with a 38 (+2) with 2 birdies and 5 pars on the day. Rianne Ke, Madison Lewis and Kate Lee also contributed to the victory with strong rounds, shooting 43 (+7),  45 (+9) and 46 (+10) respectively. The golf team will look for further success next week when they will take on Cavalry Chapel Santa Ana on the road and Katella High School at home.
