Daniel Solarz Named Head Girls and Boys Golf Coach at St. Margaret's

St. Margaret's Episcopal School is pleased to announce Daniel Solarz's appointment as head coach of the Tartan golf programs.
 
Solarz previously served as an assistant for St. Margaret's girls and boys programs for the past two years under retiring head coach Rocky Parker.
 
Solarz is an avid golfer, having lettered in golf for four years at Culver City High School and serving as team captain as a senior.
 
At St. Margaret's, Solarz teaches AP Macroeconomics and US History and is the faculty advisor to the Jewish Affinity Group and the SMES Investment Club.

 

"I am very excited to be named as the new head golf coach at St. Margaret's Episcopal School. I feel so honored to be given the chance to coach the sport that I love at a school that I love," said coach Solarz. "Having served as an assistant coach under the legendary Rocky Parker over the last two years, I am highly aware of the strength of the program that I am inheriting and the amazing talent, integrity, and positivity of our players. I can't wait to begin work at my new office, out on the golf links with our players. Go Tartans!"
 
Solarz holds a Ph.D. in History from Claremont Graduate University, an M.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside and a B.A. in History from the University of California, San Diego.
