Parents Give High Marks of Approval to St. Margaret’s This Year! Thank You!

St. Margaret’s asked parents how the school is performing in several key areas, importantly on the delivery of its mission, academic and emotional support of students, as well as campus safety within the context of COVID-19.
The annual survey inviting parent feedback on the school’s performance showed very high approval and agreement with the school’s efforts this year to deliver on its mission and support its students in myriad ways.

In late March, St. Margaret’s asked parents how the school is performing in several key areas, importantly on the delivery of its mission, academic and emotional support of students, as well as campus safety within the context of COVID-19. The survey also included the highly informative “net promoter score” question endorsed by Harvard Business Review that asks how likely parents would be to recommend the school to a friend or colleague.

The survey results were overwhelmingly positive with most questions receiving 95% or higher positive agreement rates.  St. Margaret’s received a very strong response rate of 449 responses that included families across all four divisions.

“We highly value feedback from our parents as we strive to continually innovate the St. Margaret’s experience,” said Assistant Head of School for Strategic Initiatives Ryan Dahlem, who oversees the parent survey and presented the results at this week’s PTF General Membership Meeting. “The positive feedback regarding student support was especially affirming this year as we brought concurrent learners back to campus to reconnect with peers and supportive adults in their lives. We also heard a strong desire among parents for more opportunities to be back on campus to connect with the school and one another. We look forward to welcoming parents for many important campus events as we close this school year, including the All-School Closing Ceremony on June 1, and are prioritizing this feedback as we make plans for the fall.”

St. Margaret’s administration thanks all parents who were able to complete the survey and provide their valuable feedback.
