Tartans Overcome Sea Kings 13-7

St. Margaret's boys lacrosse picked up a big win Tuesday evening.
St. Margaret's boys lacrosse program notched a huge late-season win against perennial powerhouse Corona del Mar on Tuesday, sinking the Sea Kings 13-7 on Tartan Field. The victory was sweet for St. Margaret's, avenging a 7-4 2021 CIF Quarterfinal loss to CDM.

Possession was the name of the game for the Tartans, with St. Margaret's dominating the ball for the majority of the game. Faceoff man Bobby Springer kept the Tartans firmly in control, winning 17 out of 22 at the x. Netminder Sebastien Chicas made 8 saves on 15 Sea King shots.

St. Margaret's will attempt to continue its 11-game unbeaten streak on Friday, April 29, facing visiting Palos Verdes. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
